I guess my expectations were too high for a brunch place like this. First off, why name it bees but having nothing bee related. No special bee drink or bee/ honey food. Then the food was mid at best for the price, but they couldn't even cook eggs correctly. We had to send the plate back for them to remake the eggs, which at first the server ask if we can scrape off only the egg and leave the rest, gross. Atmosphere felt cold and not very welcoming. Definitely will not be going back and don't recommend.

This is a one of my favorite brunch spots in the area. I’ve been here quite a few times and the food is always top tier… But let me tell you about these here FRUITY PEBBLES WAFFLES! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! They were exactly what I thought they would be! Took me back to my childhood for a second there. I would definitely order them along with the cinnamon roll waffles again…😉 I highly recommend this place for a great brunch…lunch!! && remember… Good food isn't cheap and cheap food isn't good!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice before, but this particular time I showed up for Lunch on Juneteenth. This place was dramatically unprepared for a holiday weekend. First of all, they have a table towards the back of the seating area that has a reserved sign on it. We weren’t allowed to sit at it but a set of people who came in afterwards were. Having a table unavailable on a holiday during the lunch hour is just poor practice. Particularly when you have a grand total of 11 tables and a bar (not including the reserved of course) That aside, the place was out of vodka to make their signature martinis. They also couldn’t make any charcuterie boards because they were out of ingredients for them, isn’t that what the “boards” in the name stands for? Our food order also took 35 minutes to come out to us. Despite this wait for the food, I will say that what we ordered was delicious, the food gets a 4/5. My servers Hannah and Bree were amazing, they were prompt, polite, sweet, checked in on us often and made our drinks quickly. I left 3 stars for service because the elderly lady who appears to be the manager or maybe the chef was rude to the wait staff, tapping counters and waving staf

What a fantastic brunch experience! We visited with a party of three and were seated right away with no wait, which was a great start to our meal. The food was absolutely amazing. The shrimp and grits were flavorful and perfectly prepared, the bacon, avocado, and jack omelette was delicious and packed with fresh ingredients, and the bananas foster French toast was unforgettable. Every dish arrived hot, fresh, and exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout to Lizzie, who was hands down one of the best servers we’ve had. She paid attention to every detail, kept everything running smoothly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our visit. Between the incredible food, excellent service, and relaxing atmosphere, Bees & Boards has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite brunch spots. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time we’ll be asking to sit in Lizzie’s section! Highly recommend!

The food here is really good and the vibe is just as solid—but be prepared to wait. I’ve been a few times now, and every visit turns into a 90-minute to 2-hour experience, whether you planned for that or not. What’s confusing is it’s not always busy. I’ve been there when there were only a handful of tables, and it was still moving slower than expected. It seems like a staffing or flow issue. You’ll see multiple staff members around, but only one actual server handling tables, which doesn’t quite add up and definitely impacts the experience. That said… the food? Worth it. Just know what you’re signing up for before you go. This isn’t a quick stop—it’s a time commitment.
